Furniture Design
As the child of artists — mother was an art teacher and photographer, father is a pen and ink artist — I have always had a passion for art and design. From pen and ink sketches, to graphic design, to furniture design, I love the process of starting with an idea, and bringing it to life.
As my woodworking interest increased in the last handful of years, I began to be interested in learning more about the art of furniture design. In late 2021 I took a furniture design class from the Ebanista School of Fine Woodworking here in Seattle.
I would love to work together in taking your ideas, inspiration and interest and turning that into custom, beautiful pieces for your home. You can purchase only the design, to be produced by any furniture builder, or receive both a custom design and custom piece from Good Jonesy.
Graphic Design
While most of my work is grounded in furniture building and general contractor services, as a creative, I also love any opportunity to stretch into other design work such as graphic design. From designing my daughter’s soccer team logo to my own company’s logo and swag, I believe creative pursuits should never be bound into a single medium.
